Certified Creative Studio Instructors!

Terri Clark e-mailed us this photo of her sampler after taking the Creative Studio class in our Portland location.  For doing so, she received an "Outstanding Achievement Award" ribbon shown here.  All students taking our Creative Studio class in Portland have the opportunity to earn a ribbon by e-mailing us a photo of the sampler they learned how to make in class.

Creative Studio - 9:00am - 5:00pm  Tanya and Pat will walk you through Statler Stitcher's newest software, Creative Studio.  Tanya was part of Statler's Congress of Users in 2007 that helped jump start the development of the new software.  Pat and Tanya have both been beta testers and are now Certified Creative Studio Instructors.  This class will demonstrate how Creative Studio can make you a better quilter.  There will be an "answer your questions" segment in each class that will address individual concerns.  The class is limited to 6 students, allowing the instructors to have no more than three students at a time.  Each instructor will teach from a Gammill longarm machine loaded with the Creative Studio Software.  Students will rotate between instructors to cover all the material.  Lunch and beverages will be provided.                                       Minimum 4 students, limited to 6.                                                               $150.00 per person.

Contact Tanya Del Togno Armanasco to register.  She will reply with a confirmation and registration form detailing further instructions.

Autosketch - 9:00am - 2:00pm  In the Autosketch Class you will be introduced to how this software is used to create digital quilting designs.  Tanya will guide you through the step by step process of tracing your original designs, and turning them into a digital pattern.  We will discuss the toolbar, importing an image, and troubleshooting.  After she's shown you the basics, you will learn how to take a simple image and turn it into a block, triangle, sashing, border, and corner pattern.  You will leave with an entire set of coordinating designs. A lap top is not required, but you are welcome to bring one.  Lunch and beverages will be provided.                                                                                                        Minimum 3 students, limited to 6.                                                                     $85 per person.
